It's another lovely day in Comrie. The highs are in the mid-70s and the lows are in the high 50s with blue skies and full sun. It's good to have to walk to the Cost Cutter for the Sunday papers and a delight to meet our friends and neighbours on the way to and from.
One of the folks we met on our way was our friend Peter Innes, who pointed out that one result of the post office newsagent's decision to stop delivering Sunday papers is that more folks are walking to the village and getting their exercise. This is particularly true in this gorgeous summer weather.
By the way, the photo of Comrie's signature building, The White Church Community Centre, was taken just before we met up with Peter. This is an unretouched photograph.
Don has made our coffee so it's time to put on the choral music and open the newspaper. Don will be making French Toast this morning. Care to join us?
