I got up today feeling considerably better than I have in 10 days. I am hoping this is a trend. Before I left the house for my dental appointment, I had made a hen to go with the cockerel I made yesterday. (Over here, they are not called "roosters.")
I walked to my dentist's which usually takes me 10 minutes but took more like 25. After the appointment I walked home, which took even longer, especially as I stopped off at the charity shop. By the time I got home, I was "shattered" and even now I am feeling quite tired, so I'm going to take my new Quilting Arts Magazine into the sitting room and just take it easy for a while.
Meanwhile, before and after lunch I auditioned fabric to use as a background to the little 5" quilt starburst I made yesterday. I think I found just the thing! What do you think?
