I've been very crafty lately. I finished making a stuffed ball for Cameron. It turns out that the pentagon is the only shape that, when joined with other pentagons will not lie flat. (Triangles joined with other triangles, squares with other squares, and so on, do lie flat.) If you join 12 pentagons, you get a ball. See?
I've also been knitting scarves at night. Don't ask me why I always want to knit when the weather turns cooler. It isn't to keep me warm, but somehow, my hands want to be busy while I'm watching telly and knitting seems to be the answer to that situation.
Finally, the members of the So and Sews were asked by Morag to contribute crafty items for her Craft Booth at the upcoming church fair. I told Morag I would give her some patchwork pins to sell. I already had some made but I completed two more for her. I think they turned out rather well and sincerely hope they go for a good price. They'd make nice lapel pins to give as gifts or stocking stuffers.Tomorrow I hope to give you a Show and Tell about our new toy. Don is still figuring out how to work it but I'm sure he'll have a demo for us tomorrow. Otherwise, we're getting ready for our trip to the States on Friday. To that end, I am making lists of things to take TO the States, things to bring FROM the States, and things that must be done here at home before we leave.
