Instead of writing very much about the past 3 days, I'll just give you photos of the major touring days with Naomi. Friday and Saturday were still fairly rainy; we had our rain gear on or with us both days. The first photo above is from Dunkeld, which is where we went on Friday. Here is Dunkeld Cathedral during one of the "outbreaks of sun" predicted to occur occasionally throughout the day.
On Saturday we spent the day in the Wee Kingdom of Fife. Unlike with Wendy and Jami, this time we by-passed Falkland and went to St. Andrews instead. The second photo above is of the Old Course under a cloudy sky with the sandy beach in the background. From St. Andrews we went to Crail and from Crail, to Anstruther. The next two photos show Don and Naomi (far left) in the queue at the Anstruther Fish Bar where we waited for about half an hour. The second of the two photos shows the rest of the queue after we got inside. We still waited about 15 more minutes before we were seated but, as usual, found the fish suppers well worth waiting for. It was a long day, though, and we were very happy to get home--and happy that we had already had our supper!

Sunday was a mostly dry day. This was the perfect day for seeing the Falls of Dochart at Killin, all of Glen Lyon, and the thatched-roof village of Fortingall. The last photos are from those places.

After lunch at The Royal Hotel today, we drove Naomi to Edin-burgh Airport. The forecourts at both Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports, which had been closed following the attack on Glasgow Airport, are open again. New barriers have been erected so that while one can set travelers down in the forecourt, they can no longer be dropped off at the front door of the terminal. Still, it is a far easier walk from where we dropped Naomi into the terminal than was the case a week ago when cars essentially couldn't drive up to the terminal area at all and passengers were having to walk from the airport entrances, dragging their luggage up to the terminal.
We had a terrific visit with Naomi. Now we have a week to get ready for our last scheduled guests of summer. You won't be surprised to learn that Don has already gotten back onto the golf course and I've already begun the laundry and done some quilting.
