Rain, Rain, Go Away!

What can you do when you're 12 and you're visiting your grandparents in Scotland and it's pouring with rain? E-mail your friends on MySpace while listening to your Ipod.

What can you do when you're a grand-parent and you're stuck inside with a techno-savvy teen? Why, you get her to show you how to use your new MP3 player which you haven't a clue about!

Unfortunately, it drizzled on and off all day yesterday. It wasn't too bad in the afternoon so we did manage to take Wendy and Jami to see Drummond Castle Gardens.

But it's not drizzling today--it's raining! Heavy at times. Our only consolation is looking at the weather map of the whole UK and seeing that there is absolutely no place in the entire country that has it any better. It doesn't make for good sight-seeing, though. If it lets up much, we will show Wendy "greater downtown Comrie" and perhaps even go into Crieff so she can do some gift shopping.

Tomorrow is supposed to be better. It's just supposed to be cloudy all day. You see what have we come to? A cloudy day now looks really good.
