The work is all done now, the hard work, that is. All I need to do now is cut out the two hanging sleeves. (I shall put one on the bottom so that the quilt hangs properly.) I'll then affix the sleeves and the binding tomorrow during the So and Sews' meeting so that I will have hand-sewing to do during it.I am very pleased with the way things have turned out. I may do a small bit of tweaking here and there, but basically, I think this is the quilt that I will call "Log Cabin for an Art Lover."
We had a very leisurely morning as it was raining when we got up, so Don and Gordon called off their game. Don went for the paper and we've sat and read it off and on today. It felt good to have the gas fire on as it is just one of those dank days. This afternoon, though, it cleared sufficiently that Don decided to go to the course and hit some balls. His game has been improving quite a bit lately so I think he wanted to keep it up.
