Another Action-Packed Day

The photo is of the 7 batik fabrics that came in April. Aren't they vibrant and lovely? I look forward to playing with them.

We're off to Stirling to pick up my Bernina sewing machine and while at Pemberton's, I'll order my big fat Horn sewing table. Then it's off to Perth to run a few errands before returning home in time for my book group meeting.

Four joiners showed up at 7:45 this morning. One of them, Ally, is constructing our window seats while the other three erect the support for our verandah roof and put up the roof trusses. Mr Jack and his crew of brickies arrived at about 8 and are finishing up their drain work. They will put a slab in for us as a back stoop and also prepare a path for us to get from our utility room door to the garage without walking through mud as we have done every time it rained for the past 6 months!
